Actor Siddique's Son Rasheen Passes Away

The elder son of popular Malayalam film actor Siddique passed away in Kochi on Thursday. As per reports, Rasheen, who was 37, was admitted to a private hospital after he developed breathing-related issues. Rasheen was a differently abled individual who was cared for by the family. Popular Malayalam actor Siddique is going through a difficult time in her personal life. The actor is grieving the loss of his son, Rasheen.

The 37-year-old Rasheen had been admitted to a private hospital in Kochi owing to Ill health and breathing issues.

It is reported that he succumbed to respiratory failure.

Actor Siddique's son Rasheen passes away

Rasheen was Siddique’s elder son. He is survived by his father and his younger brother, actor Shaheen Siddique.

Siddique often spoke about Rasheen in his interviews, expressing his affection for his differently-abled son.

Rasheen was introduced to the media during the wedding festivities of Shaheen. Photos of the family, including Shaheen's wife Amrutha Das, Siddique, and Rasheen, won thumbs up from fans on social media. In interviews, Shaheen spoke about how Rasheen, was the first to know about the events taking place in his life, talking about the connection the siblings shared.

Actors Fahadh Faasil, Dileep, Kavya Madhavan, Edavela Babu, Ranji Panicker, Sai Kumar, Bindu Panicker, Anoop Chandran, Kukku Parameswaran, Mala Parvathy and Seenath paid their last respects. The Burial was held at Padamugal Masjid on Thursday evening.

Rasheen was fondly called Sappy. He was the eldest of Siddique’s three children.

About Siddique

Siddique made his acting debut with the film Aa Neram Alppa Dooram (1985).

Some of his films include Godfather, Manthrikacheppu, Simhavalan Menon, Kasargode Khadarbhai, Thiruthalvaadi, Mughamudra, Kunukkitta Kozhi, and Welcome to Kodaikanal.

In 2004, he was awarded the Kerala State Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performances in Sasneham Sumitra and Choonda. Siddique will be a part of Vikram's Veera Dheera Sooran.
