Maeva Ghennam Reacts As Private Post-Surgery Video Accidentally Leaked By Friend: 'God Help Me'

Influencer and reality TV star Maeva Ghennam, known for her appearance in the French reality TV show Les Marseillais, was subject to a major social media mishap recently. The Marseille, France-based internet personality had shared a video of her surgery results with a friend via Snapchat. However, the friend mistakenly made the video public. Although it was deleted shortly afterward, it was saved by other users who then made it viral.

Ghennam is known to have undergone several cosmetic surgeries as she built her career as a reality TV and social media star. However, she reportedly took a U-turn and turned to religion, along with undoing the enhancements dome on her body via cosmetic surgery. She has been open about her journey, as well as the procedures, with her followers on social media.

According to reports citing her social media posts, she underwent at least two surgeries in 2023 and has been recovering from them since. After waking up on July 1, she made a video of herself naked and shared it with a friend, reportedly to observe the results of the surgeries. However, the friend mistakenly posted the video on a Snapchat story, and it went viral from there.

Ghennam, who has over 5 million followers across social media, has not taken to it well. Based on her recent social media activity, she is traumatized and cannot "get over it." She first responded to it in a Snapchat video, followed by a long Instagram post where she apologised to her community and requested them to report the video so that it gets taken away from circulation on social media.

"Please report the content so that people stop sharing it. Please, I beg you, and stop sending me what is being said, I beg you," she told her followers.

She then wrote about how she regretted all the surgeries she has had, calling them her "worst mistakes."

"I regret all the surgeries I have had. I had surgery to try to reduce these surgeries and become more natural. I can't remove everything at once; it's a long process. A process that is destroying my life, I will never forgive myself for it," she wrote. "All this because for years I made the worst mistakes of my life by wanting to distance myself from my body which made me very self-conscious. Today I want to remove it because I am horrible. Now my body is disproportionate all because of this."
