Mohanlal Unveils First Look Of Jeethu Joseph's Nunakuzhi Starring Basil Joseph

The first-look poster for Jeethu Joseph's upcoming Malayalam film Nunakuzhi was unveiled at 11 am on June 29 through actor Mohanlal's social media handles. The makers had earlier announced this on Friday, and as promised, fans are now privy to the first look of the film.

Nunakuzhi, featuring Basil Joseph in the lead, is billed as a dark comedy. The first look poster features both Basil Joseph and Grace Antony in character. It is scripted by KR Krishna Kumar, who had earlier penned Jeethu's 12th Man and Kooman.

Nunakuzhi also stars Grace Antony, Manoj K Jayan, Swasika, Siddique, Baiju Santhosh, Saiju Kurup, and Aju Varghese in prominent roles. Editor Vinayak VS and cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, regular collaborators of Jeethu, are part of this film as well. It is backed by Yoodlee and presented by Saregama and Vintage Films.

Nunakuzhi will hit the big screens on August 15.

Jeethu's last directorial venture was Neru, headlined by Mohanlal, which was released to wide critical acclaim and commercial success. The ace director's upcoming projects include the long-delayed Mohanlal-starrer Ram, and a yet-to-be-titled film with Fahadh Faasil, which has been penned by Neru-fame lawyer-writer Santhi Mayadevi. Additionally, Jeethu is also serving as the showrunner of the upcoming Disney+ Hotstar series Secret Stories: Roslin, directed by Sumesh Nandakumar.

Meanwhile, Basil has Jithin Laal's Ajayante Randaam Moshanam, MC Jithin's Sookshmadarshini co-starring Nazriya Nazim, Sivaprasad's Marana Mass, Sanju V Samuel's Cup, Sreeraj Sreenivasan's Praavinkoodu Shappu and production designer Jothish Shankar's yet-to-be-titled directorial debut lined up in his roster.
