What Malayalam Films Can You Watch On OTT This July?

The month of July is packed with the OTT release of some much-anticipated Malayalam films that had created a lot of buzz during its theatrical release. Gear up to watch the following films on different OTT platforms this month in July.

Megastar Mammootty's superhit action flick Turbo, directed by Vysakh and written by director-writer Midhun Manuel Thomas is gearing up to steam on OTT after an exciting theatrical run. As fans eagerly wait, the Mammootty starrer is gearing up for its OTT release on Sony LIV, and as recent updates indicate, Turbo will be available for streaming on July 12, 2024.

Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, Malayalee From India premiered in theatres on May 1, 2024. Almost two months after its theatrical release, the makers have scheduled its digital streaming on SonyLIV starting July 5, 2024. The film stars Nivin Pauly as Aalparambil Gopi, Dhyan Sreenivasan as Malghosh KP, and Anaswara Rajan as Krishna. The film released immediately after Nivin Pauly's cameo in Vineeth Sreenivasan's Varshangalkku Sesham, and so, garnered its own share of fans to the theatre. The film is scheduled to stream on SonyLIV from July 5 onwards.

Directed by Saajir Sadaf, this Malayalam comedy film was released on June 28, 2024 for its theatrical run. The film features Krishna Sankar, Johny Antony, Sudhi Koppa, and Gokulan as lead characters, and is expected to be available on OTT at the end of July, since the film is still running in theatres.

This Malayalam comedy-drama film, starring Suraj Venjaramoodu and Biju Menon, released theatrically on June 21, 2024, to positive reviews. The film, directed by Vishnu Narayan in collaboration with writer Rajesh Gopinadhan, has an ensemble cast that includes Shruti Ramachandran, Lijomol Jose, Sudhi Koppa, Lalu Alex, Johny Antony, Noushad Ali, and others. Anup Kannan and Renu A have produced the movie under the banner of Anup Kannan Stories, and is expected to stream on OTT by the end of July. An official confirmation on the OTT release date is being awaited.
