CISF Jawan dies by suicide in Delhi

New Delhi: A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawan was found hanging from a tree with a plastic rope at CISF camp in Dwarka Sec-16 on Monday. Police suspect he died by suicide, reported news agency ANI. The cops have received a PCR call regarding suicide after which IO along with the staff of police station Dwarka North reached the CISF Camp in Dwarka Sec-16.
Here they found a man hanging from a tree with a plastic rope. The deceased was later identified as Ct. Siva Prabhu, ANI report added. A resident of Tamil Nadu's Madurai, the 27-year-old CISF Jawan was posted as a Constable in the Metro Unit, said police, quoted ANI.
The crime team has meanwhile inspected the crime scene and further proceedings are underway. The police have also informed about the case to SDM Dwarka.
So far, ANI reported, no foul play has surfaced in the case and the body has been taken to DDU Hospital, Hari Nagar, Delhi for post-mortem.
